At age 7, Gomez got her big break playing with a purple dinosaur on Barney & Friends. After getting the "boot," she moved on as teen witch Alex on Wizards before branching out to music.
In 2008, Gomez entered the world of tabloids, making headlines for a tween feud reminiscent of 2002's Lohan vs Duff. After Miley Cyrus parodied the Wizards star online, Gomez fanned the flames by dating her ex Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers. But Gomez eventually moved on, briefly dating Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner before embarking on an on-again, off-again romance with Canadian crooner Justin Bieber.
